Chihuly Gala

Clear Story was commissioned by The Event Group to transform the special events space at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens for the 2007 Chihuly Gala – Gardens & Glass, featuring renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. The team created an abstract video installation inspired by the handmade and elemental nature of glassmaking, while a temporary installation of ultra-saturated color film across the venue’s windows softened the daylight and echoed the vivid palette of Chihuly’s work. The result was a playful, immersive environment bathed in radiant color.
